The Student Activities Department at Al-Ayen Iraqi University held the first meeting for the academic year 2024-2025 with the department representatives in the university colleges to discuss programs designated for participation in the Ministerial Curriculum, of the year 2024-2025.
The meeting was chaired by the Director of the Department at the University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hussein M. Taama. "The meeting discussed administrative and technical matters related to the department and preparations for organizing qualitative student activities that develop the capabilities and talents of our students, indicating that "the most important thing was the guidance in the spirit of one team and the emphasis on preparing an annual curriculum that includes a greater number of student activities (sports, arts, scouting, volunteer) that are purposeful, in addition to employing educational and training aspects within the curriculum, especially the awareness and educational aspects that are purposeful.
The Director of the Student Activities Department stressed the interest in activities that seek to serve the community, protect the environment, and achieve sustainable development goals through volunteer and group work.
In conclusion, preparations for participation in the ministerial curriculum prepared by the Ministry’s Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority were discussed to achieve satisfactory results, which in turn raise the university’s standing among other universities by preparing teams (sports, arts, and scouting).
