Al-Ayen Iraqi University extends its deepest condolences and greatest sympathy to the Awaited Imam (may God Almighty hasten his honorable reappearance), the supreme religious authorities and all Muslims in the east and west of the globe, on the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Abbas bin Ali bin Abi Talib (pbut), as the martyrdom of the battalion's ram is considered a great tragedy and a great loss as a symbol of courage. With sincerity and sacrifice, he gave everything he had to defend the truth and raise the banner of justice and religion in the battle of Karbala. He thus offered sincerity, courage, and willpower in defending Imam Hussein and his family until he was martyred and his hands were amputated, so he continued to carry the banner until his last breath.
