The second stage students of the Medical Device Technology Engineering Department held a practical presentation about a blood pressure measuring device within the subject of medical measurements and transducers under the supervision of Assoc. Lect. Elaf Nouri Saddam and Eng. Taiba Yaqoub, as part of a series of class student activities.
The students explained the mechanism of operation of the blood pressure measuring device, explaining the various types of medical and engineering devices, and the extent of their variation in accuracy rates. The presentation also included how to use a digital blood pressure measuring device, its working principle, and its basic components.
The students concluded the presentation with a practical application in the laboratory of the device, which measures blood pressure and the number of heartbeats in the human body, with a distinctive and useful experience that is compatible with the nature of the material and its basics.
