| Al Ayen Iraqi University Equal Employment Rights Policy |
1. Policy Objective The purpose of this policy is to ensure a fair, equitable, and non-discriminatory working environment for all employees at Al Ayen Iraqi University and to adhere to the principle of equal opportunities and equal rights in all stages of employment and work. 2. Scope of Application This policy applies to all university employees (academic, administrative, and technical staff) and job applicants, regardless of the nature of their work. 3. Principle of Equal Rights (Non-Discrimination) The university is fully committed to the principle of non-discrimination stipulated in the Iraqi Constitution and legislation. It strictly prohibits any discrimination against any individual in hiring, promotions, training, wages, termination, or any other working condition due to: • Gender (male or female). • Race or national origin. • Religion or belief. • Color. • Economic or social status. • Disability. • Any other legally prohibited basis. 4. Employment Procedures
• Responsibility: The Office of the University President (or its representative) is responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of this policy. • Complaints: Employees and job applicants may submit complaints regarding any violation of this policy through the Complaints Box/Mechanism affiliated with the Office of the University President, ensuring confidentiality and non-retaliation. • Training: The university shall provide periodic training to employees and managers to ensure their understanding and effective application of this policy. |
