1. Al-Ayen Iraqi University Launches Training Program to Enhance Faculty Capabilities. The Continuing Education Center at Al-Ayen University launched its first training program to develop faculty capabilities. The program aims to enhance their academic and research skills. Lectures began via Zoom, following a prearranged schedule. The program includes six main modules covering various aspects of academic knowledge. The program covers a range of topics, from the fundamentals of scientific research and how to write a research paper to methods for securing research funding. It also covers curriculum development, standards of quality in teaching and learning, and how to lead a multidisciplinary and multinational research team. This program is part of Al-Ayen University's efforts to enhance the quality of higher education and scientific research in Iraq and to empower faculty members to meet contemporary academic challenges and contribute to the dissemination of knowledge. The program is fully funded by the university and offered free of charge.

2. On Sunday, July 28, 2024, the College of Dentistry at Al-Ayen Iraqi University in Iraq held a workshop entitled "Optimal Use of the Dental Chair." The workshop, presented by Assistant Lecturer Zaid Hadi Yasser, aimed to teach fourth-year dental students from various dental colleges across Iraq the safe and effective use of dental chairs, maximizing their operational efficiency and thus extending their lifespan. This workshop is part of the college's efforts to enhance the practical skills of its students in the field of dentistry and ensure their readiness to handle dental equipment efficiently during their work at the university's specialized dental teaching hospital.

On Saturday, May 4, 2024, the Continuing Education Center at Al-Ayen Iraqi University, as part of the government's program for developing and qualifying university leaders, held a self-development skills course for university leaders, specifically within its fifth module. This course covered the fundamentals of self-development, including improving translation skills, critical thinking, creative thinking, communication, verbal communication, stress management, presentation skills, memo writing, and public relations. The course aimed to motivate university leaders to achieve personal and professional success by developing their skills and enhancing their leadership and innovative abilities, which will help them achieve their goals effectively and sustainably.
