Under the auspices of the Deanship of the College of Engineering Technology at Al-Ayen Iraqi University, the Central Committee for Institutional and Program Accreditation held a specialized applied workshop. The workshop was presented by the college's Engineering and Institutional Program Accreditation Committee, specifically by Dr. Ahmed Najm Nimr Al-Subaih, Head of the Fuel and Energy Engineering Technology Department at the College of Engineering Technology. Quality assurance officers from all university colleges and a number of faculty members also participated.
The workshop addressed the mechanism for preparing and organizing academic description forms for programs and courses, outlining the related theoretical and practical aspects. It also clarified the mechanisms for linking learning outcomes to the academic content in accordance with institutional and program accreditation requirements and quality assurance standards. The session witnessed fruitful interaction from the attendees through questions and discussions of the practical aspects.
This workshop is part of the college's ongoing efforts to promote a culture of quality and academic accreditation, and to develop educational performance in a way that contributes to raising the academic level and achieving the approved standards at both the institutional and program levels.
