The College of Engineering Technology at Al-Ayen Iraqi University concluded its orientation for first-year students in the Fuel and Energy Engineering Technology Department. The Dean of the College, Asst. Prof. Dr. Rafid S. Aboud, along with His Deputy for Acedemic Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Raed N. Al-Obaidi, and the Head of the Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed N. Nemer welcomed the students, wishing them a successful start and a fruitful academic journey.
The orientation included an overview of the curricula, educational plans, and research and practical activities within the department. Students were also introduced to the laboratories and facilities and encouraged to utilize all available resources. The students had the opportunity to ask questions about their coursework, projects, and student competitions.
The college administration emphasized the importance of active participation in scientific and cultural activities, stressing that student success hinges on learning, research, developing creative skills, and teamwork.
