The College of General Medicine at Al-Ayen Iraqi University held a specialized scientific workshop entitled "Chemicals and Thyroid Toxicity," dedicated to examining the impact of chemicals and environmental pollution on thyroid function.
The workshop included a scientific lecture presented by Prof. Dr. Obaid Muhsin Faroun from the US Department of Health and Human Services, during which he reviewed the latest scientific aspects related to thyroid toxicity and its health implications. The workshop was held in Ibn Al-Haytham Hall with the participation of several faculty members and students from the college.
