The incubator is responsible for receiving ideas and projects submitted by students, supervisors, or governmental entities, incubating them from their early stages, and providing technical and research support. It enables teams to develop and test prototypes in real-world settings and to document the development stages as research data, in preparation for transforming them into applied research. Technological Incubator Division Projects
1) Legal Advisor Application
Project Summary: A smart application that allows users to submit any legal issue or inquiry, after which the system provides an initial response based on Iraqi laws. The project aims to facilitate quick and simplified access to legal information and help individuals understand their rights and the legal procedures related to their cases.
2) Smart Dental Mirror Project
Project Summary: This project involves the development of a smart dental mirror used by dentists inside the patient’s mouth, connected to a Wi-Fi camera that transmits images directly to a screen or dedicated application. Through an artificial intelligence-based algorithm, images of the teeth and gums are analyzed to extract indicators and possible preliminary diagnoses that assist the dentist in evaluating the condition more accurately and quickly.
3) Blood Type Detection via Saliva Project
Project Summary: This project aims to develop an innovative method to help determine blood type using a saliva sample instead of traditional blood-drawing methods. The project focuses on providing a fast, easy, and safe solution that could contribute in the future to modern medical and diagnostic applications.
4) Organic Chemistry Book Authoring Project
Book Title: Ambassador of Chemical Elements
Project Summary: This project involves authoring a scientific book in organic chemistry titled Ambassador of Chemical Elements. It aims to present chemical concepts in a simplified, scientific, and engaging style. The book seeks to support students and individuals interested in chemistry by presenting information in a way that facilitates understanding and connects theoretical knowledge with practical applications.
5) Chemical Reactions Encyclopedia Application
Project Summary: This project aims to develop a smart application specialized in cataloging chemical reactions based on Vogel’s chemistry books and other approved scientific references. The application provides students and researchers with information on how chemical reactions occur, their practical steps, the substances involved, whether a reaction between substance (A) and substance (B) will occur, the expected products, and the reaction conditions. The project contributes to facilitating access to chemical information and transforming it into an easy-to-use digital format.
6) Anti-Cyber Extortion Application
Project Summary: This project involves developing a smart application to help address cyber extortion issues by providing a safe and rapid way to report cases, with the possibility of linking the application to the relevant authorities to support legal and security follow-up procedures. The application aims to protect users, increase digital awareness, and provide initial guidance on how to properly deal with cyber extortion and online threats.
7) Smart Agricultural Diagnosis Application for Plant Diseases
Project Summary: An application based on artificial intelligence and image processing to diagnose plant diseases through images of leaves, fruits, or stems. The application analyzes the image, identifies the potential disease, and provides initial recommendations for treatment or prevention. This project benefits farmers, students, and researchers in the agricultural sector and helps improve productivity while reducing losses.
8) Smart Water Quality Monitoring Device
Project Summary: This project is a smart electronic device designed to measure water quality by testing a set of indicators such as pH, turbidity, salinity, and certain chemical properties. The device can be connected to a mobile application to display results and alerts directly. The project aims to serve educational, environmental, agricultural, and health institutions in monitoring water safety.
9) Initial Medical Assistant Application
Project Summary: A smart application that allows users to enter preliminary health symptoms, after which the system analyzes them and provides general initial guidance about the condition, while directing the user to the appropriate medical specialty or advising them to consult a doctor. The project aims to support health awareness and facilitate access to primary medical information in a simplified and safe manner.
10) Low-Cost Smart Home System
Project Summary: A technical project to develop a low-cost smart home system for controlling lighting, electrical appliances, and alarm systems through a mobile phone. The project aims to provide a practical solution suitable for home use and small institutions, with the possibility of future expansion to include motion sensing, smoke detection, and energy consumption optimization.
11) Scientific Translation Application for Specialized Terminology
Project Summary: An application dedicated to translating and explaining scientific terminology in the fields of chemistry, medicine, engineering, and modern technologies, while providing simplified definitions and illustrative examples. The project aims to help students and researchers understand precise specialized terms and facilitate their use in study and scientific research.
