1. Al-Ayen Iraqi University Launches Training Program to Enhance Faculty Capabilities. The Continuing Education Center at Al-Ayen University launched its first training program to develop faculty capabilities. The program aims to enhance their academic and research skills. Lectures began via Zoom, following a prearranged schedule. The program includes six main modules covering various aspects of academic knowledge. The program covers a range of topics, from the fundamentals of scientific research and how to write a research paper to methods for securing research funding. It also covers curriculum development, standards of quality in teaching and learning, and how to lead a multidisciplinary and multinational research team. This program is part of Al-Ayen University's efforts to enhance the quality of higher education and scientific research in Iraq and to empower faculty members to meet contemporary academic challenges and contribute to the dissemination of knowledge. The program is fully funded by the university and offered free of charge.

2. Al-Ayen Iraqi University hosted the “Makers of Hope and Messengers of Peace” Exhibition, showcasing the artistic and creative works of inmates from Nasiriyah Central Prison at the university’s second campus. The event, attended by government officials, academic leaders, and representatives from religious and educational institutions, highlighted paintings and handmade crafts produced by inmates. This initiative reflects the university’s and the Correctional Directorate’s commitment to rehabilitation through art and education, supporting SDG 1, SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) by fostering reintegration, creativity, and social inclusion.

3. As part of its commitment to advancing research excellence, Al-Ayen University is proud to highlight a selection of successfully completed research grants. These projects, funded by the university through competitive internal programs, reflect the dedication of our researchers to addressing real-world scientific and technological challenges. This effort contributes to SDG1,SDG 4 (Quality Education) , SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by fostering a sustainable research environment and supporting innovation within the academic community.

4. On Tuesday, December 3, 2024, the College of Health and Medical Technologies at Al-Ain University in Iraq organized an exhibition of modern medical devices, with the participation of the Department of Optometry, the Department of Radiology and Ultrasound, and the Department of Anesthesia. The exhibition included practical demonstrations of modern medical devices, where students from the participating departments provided detailed explanations of how the devices work and their applications in the medical field. It also included awareness activities aimed at promoting the dangers of drugs, as part of the university's efforts to enhance health education and encourage student participation in community activities. A team from the Ministry of Health attended the event to monitor the implementation of Global Entrepreneurship Week activities. This underscores the university's commitment to supporting innovation and integrating theoretical and practical education to graduate qualified professionals capable of contributing effectively to the development of the health sector.
