The College of Engineering at Al-Ayen Iraqi University held its council meeting, chaired by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Firas F. Kadhim, and attended by the heads of the academic departments and council members. The meeting coincided with the start of the academic year for first-year students, and the college extended its warmest congratulations and best wishes for a successful academic journey.
The council began its meeting by reviewing the progress made in the college's plan for the current academic year, followed by a discussion of preparations for the first semester's final exams. The establishment of the Elite Engineering Club, the unique of its kind in public and private universities, was also discussed, along with the importance of supporting talented students and enhancing scientific activities.
Several scientific, academic, and administrative matters were addressed, including monitoring the progress of coursework, reviewing graduation projects, assessing the status of ongoing scientific research, and reviewing meeting minutes submitted by the academic departments.
This meeting reflects the College of Engineering's commitment to enhancing the quality of education and improving academic performance in line with the university's goals and future aspirations.
