As part of its efforts to strengthen academic partnerships and foster openness with prestigious educational institutions, the College of Engineering at Al-Ayen University paid an official visit to its peers at the University of Baghdad. During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to develop scientific cooperation and exchange expertise to benefit the educational and research processes at both institutions.
The visit focused on renewing the cooperation and twinning agreement between the petroleum engineering departments at the two universities, as well as exploring the possibility of attracting and exchanging faculty members to support the academic process and enhance the exchange of scientific expertise. The meeting also resulted in an agreement to establish joint research groups between the two colleges to develop scientific projects and raise the level of research output. Furthermore, an agreement was reached to exchange lecturers to deliver specialized lectures and organize scientific workshops that benefit students and provide academic staff with high-quality training programs.
This visit reflects the College of Engineering at Al-Ayen University's commitment to expanding cooperation with reputable universities and enhancing its scientific presence, thereby contributing to the development of its students' and faculty's capabilities and supporting the path to academic and research excellence in engineering disciplines.
