The Continuing Education Department at Al-Ayen University, in cooperation with the Human Rights Commission, the Student Activities Department, the Psychological Counseling Unit, the Human Rights Unit, and the Unit for Students with Disabilities, organized the "Awareness dissemination Week" under the slogan "Awareness is the Beginning of Ensuring Rights."
The university chancellor was represented at the inauguration by Prof. Dr. Firas Faiq Kadhim, Dean of the College of Engineering. Dr. Ahmed Al-Moussawi from the Human Rights Commission delivered a lecture entitled "The Role of Universities in Promoting Human Rights and Dissemination a Culture of Awareness," emphasizing the importance of academic institutions in instilling human rights concepts among students.
Through these initiatives, the university continues to foster a responsible university environment that upholds respect for human rights and empowers students with the knowledge that contributes to building a more aware society capable of protecting its rights.
