The Laser and Optoelectronic Engineering Department at the College of Engineering, Al-Ayen Iraqi University, held a workshop on academic advising and building a well-rounded university student personality. The workshop, titled "Academic Advising and its Role in Building a Balanced University Student Personality," was presented by faculty member Asst. Lecturer Shukran Adnan Hassan.
The workshop aimed to highlight the importance of academic advising in supporting students throughout their university journey, enhancing their psychological well-being, and empowering them to make sound academic decisions. This contributes to developing their abilities and fostering a positive learning environment conducive to their success.
This event is part of the college's efforts to improve the quality of education and support students academically and educationally, in line with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education), which emphasizes promoting inclusive and equitable education and improving the quality of educational outcomes.
