As part of its efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals,
The 3rd goal (good health and well-being)
The 4th goal (quality education)
The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Engineering Technology organized a workshop entitled “The Art of Self-Motivation”, on Saturday, March 8, 2025, supervised and presented by Dr. Ahmed Abu Bakr, as part of the college’s efforts to support students psychologically and academically.
The workshop highlighted the importance of self-motivation in improving academic achievement and enhancing students’ psychological health, as they are two essential elements in the success of the educational process. It also focused on providing strategies to help students build their self-confidence and develop their spirit of competition and ambition, especially during exam periods and the beginning of the academic year, which contributes to achieving psychological balance and enhancing academic performance.
At the end of the workshop, the importance of continuing to apply self-motivation methods was emphasized, as they have a direct impact on improving academic performance and are positively reflected in developing students’ self-skills and qualifying them for a more distinguished academic and professional future.
