The College of Engineering at Al-Ayen University, in cooperation with Al-Ayen Teaching Hospital, held an awareness lecture entitled "Early Detection of Breast Tumors." The lecture was delivered by Dr. Ahmed Ahmed Ghaida from Al-Ayen Teaching Hospital.
The lecture aimed to raise health awareness among students and faculty members about the importance of early screening in detecting breast tumors and its significant role in increasing recovery rates and reducing health risks.
The lecture also included an explanation of the most prominent methods of self-examination and medical examination, as well as the importance of regular follow-up and health education. It emphasized that prevention and knowledge are the first steps towards better health.
This initiative is part of a series of awareness activities organized by the college in support of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly the third goal related to good health and well-being. It also underscores the university's role in promoting health and community awareness on campus.
