On Tuesday, November 21, 2025, the Chancellor of Al-Ayen University Prof. Dr. Haider A. Marhoon signed a joint cooperation agreement with the Dhi Qar Martyrs Foundation, headed by Mr. Ahmed Hashem Hadi. This agreement is part of the university's efforts to strengthen institutional partnerships and expand areas of scientific, cultural, and social cooperation.
The agreement aims to implement joint training and rehabilitation programs, organize awareness workshops and lectures, support scientific research in the fields of social and psychological reform, and provide training opportunities for university students in fields related to their academic specializations.
This step reflects the University's commitment to strengthening cooperation between academic and community institutions and activating the memoranda of understanding signed between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Martyrs Foundation, enhancing integration in the service of education and sustainable development.
