As part of the activities of the second edition of the Iraq Education Conference - 2025, held by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research at the University of Baghdad, His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi honored Al-Ayen Iraqi University by awarding it the Distinguished University Award for Scientific Research - Natural Sciences, in recognition of its qualitative achievements in the field of scientific research and innovation.
The award was received by Prof. Dr. Haider A. Marhoon Chancellor of the University, who expressed his pride in this honor, which reflects the university's efforts to support scientific research and develop an academic environment that motivates creativity and cognitive production.
This award culminates the university's progress in advancing national and international rankings. Al-Ayen Iraqi University ranked advanced positions among the top 100 public and private academic institutions in the 2024 National Ranking of Iraqi Universities, as announced by the Ministry's Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Bureau.
