The College of Engineering at Al-Ayen University, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, held a workshop titled "A Practical Workshop on Course Description and Extraction of Learning Outcomes," presented by Assit. Prof. Dr. Hasnaa Mohammed Hassan
The workshop aimed to enhance faculty members' understanding of the mechanism for describing courses in a scientific and systematic manner, ensuring their alignment with academic quality standards and the institutional and programmatic accreditation system.
During the workshop, the lecturer addressed the foundations for preparing course descriptions and the main elements they contain, as well as the mechanisms for formulating learning outcomes according to Bloom's Taxonomy. This contributes to developing the educational process and raising its efficiency.
The workshop witnessed significant interaction from participants from various departments of the college, who offered their input and questions about practical applications related to course descriptions and learning outcomes. They emphasized the importance of these workshops in developing academic performance and improving the quality of education at the college.
