Field visit to schools entitled
((Journey to hope))
Under the sponsorship of the President of Al-Ayen University, Prof. Dr. Shafik Sh. Al-Mawla, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy Asst. Prof. Dr. Qutaiba A. Qassim, the Student Activities Unit in the College of Pharmacy, in cooperation with the International Federation of Medical Students (IFMSA), organized a field visit entitled (Journey to Hope). To Al-Siddiqa Secondary School for Girls on Monday, 4/4/2023, based on the promotion of achieving sustainable development goals in terms of quality education, health and social awareness, and strengthening partnership in order to achieve the goals under the supervision of the teacher, Dr. (Kholoud N. Odeh) Head for Student Activities Unit in the College of Pharmacy.
The activity included a number of workshops for the different stages of the school for health and psychological awareness in partnership with the College of Dentistry at the university and IFMSA
Where a group of college students explained in detail to the students about methods of preventing diseases and how to deal with a sick person to prevent the transmission of infection. The practical workshop also touched on the correct method of using medical sterilizers and masks, and the extent to which protection is available from diseases.
Health awareness posters, sterilizers and masks were also distributed to the school students
