The Chancellor of Al-Ayen University Prof. Dr. Shafik Al-Mowla was honored by the University SPE Student Chapter on Monday, December 24,2022 for his dedication towards facilitating establishing this chapter and following up the establishment process sincerely.
The Chancellor was received by a delegation headed by the Dean of Oil Engineering Colege Asst. Prof. Dr. Najih Al-Ali, the Dean of Engineering Technology College Asst. Prof. Dr. Rafid Al-Jiburi, Deputy Dean of Oil Engineering College Asst. Lect. Khaldoon Falih, personal of the Student Chapter Dr. Abdulhussein Al-Atabi, Head of the Chapter Ali Abdulkareem and his deputy Mohammad Hasan Ali who presented the creativity and distinguishing plaque to His highness the Chancellor
The SPE is the biggest non-profitable International Society specialized in oil industry. Its main interest is to collect, distribute and exchange the technical knowledge related to exploring, developing and producing oil and gas resources, public benefit technology and providing opportunities to enhance the technicians technical and professional efficiency through informing them about the latest International inventions in this industry. Besides, Involving them in International and Local Conferences, Workshops and Seminars, and providing free and low-price training courses in cooperation with the Largest International Oil Companies such as Schlumberger, Halliburton and others.
