On October 7, 2025, the Chancellor of Al-Ayen Iraqi University of Iraq, Professor Haider A. Marhoon conducted a field tour of the College of Medicine. He met with the Dean of the College, Prof. Adnan Taan Thamer, and a number of administrative staff. He was briefed on the progress of the educational process in the classrooms and medical laboratories, emphasizing the importance of providing an integrated academic environment that keeps pace with scientific developments.
The tour also included a visit to Al-Ayeny Teaching Hospital to review the training of fourth-year students who have begun the practical aspects of their studies. Clinical training is conducted under the direct supervision of college professors within an integrated medical educational environment within the hospital.
This step affirms Al-Ayen University of Iraq's commitment to integrating theoretical and practical aspects and providing real-life field training opportunities for its students, strengthening their clinical skills and qualifying them to improve the level of health services in Iraq.
