The Chairman of the Deans' Committee of Iraqi Medical Colleges and Dean of the College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Ameen Abdul-Hassan Al-Alwani praised the distinguished efforts made by the College of Medicine, Al-Ayen Iraqi University, in training fourth-year students in clinical courses.
This came during a meeting of the Deans' Committee of Iraqi Medical Colleges, which was held on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, with the attendance of all deans of medical colleges in Iraq.
Al-Alwani explained that the opening of Al-Ayen University's Teaching Hospital this year represented a qualitative addition to the provision of health services to the community, in addition to being an important training facility that contributed to providing a truly authentic educational environment for the college's students in clinical specialties such as internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, and gynecology.
For his part, the Dean of the College of Medicine, Al-Ayen Iraqi University, Prof. Dr. Adnan T. Al-Khafaji, affirmed that the college's deanship is proceeding with its clear vision to consolidate distinguished medical education and develop clinical training methods to ensure the preparation of successful doctors capable of serving society with high efficiency in the future.
