Prof. Adnan T. Al-Khafaji, Dean of the College of Medicine at Al-Ayen Iraqi University chaired the main session of the 8th International Conference of the Iraqi Cardiothoracic Society, which was held in Baghdad with the wide participation of local and international physicians and experts in the field of cardiology and thoracic diseases.
The conference also featured a live broadcast of a complex coronary artery catheterization case from the city of Sulaymaniyah, performed by Dr. Aram Jamal Mirza, a lecturer at the College of Medicine at Al-Ayen Iraqi University and a consultant in cardiology and catheterization interventions.
This activity comes as part of Al-Ayen University's commitment to strengthening its academic and scientific presence in national and international medical forums and supporting the efforts of its faculty in developing research and field medical applications in the field of cardiology.
