University Media: Adyan Al-Aboudi
A delegation from Al-Ayen Iraqi University, headed by Deputy Chancellor for Administrative Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Atheer Y. Odeh visited the headquarters of the Political Prisoners Foundation on Thursday, June 12, 2025, to congratulate Dr. Walid Al-Sahlani, for his assuming the President of the Foundation.
Dr. Odeh expressed his support for Dr. Al-Sahlani's nomination to this position, emphasizing his confidence in his leadership abilities and his role in developing the Foundation's performance. During the visit, he also announced Al-Ayen University's initiative to allocate 25 free scholarships for the families of political prisoners in various disciplines in appreciation of their sacrifices.
For his part, Dr. Walid Al-Sahlani praised the delegation's visit and Al-Ayen University's initiative, emphasizing the foundation's keenness to strengthen cooperation with the university and open up new horizons for partnership in the educational and humanitarian fields.
