Within the framework of strengthening academic and scientific cooperation between educational institutions, a delegation from the College of Health and Medical Technology at Al-Ayen University visited its counterpart, the Southern Technical College at Basra University, on Wednesday, May 28, 2025.
The visit aimed to sign a twinning agreement between the two colleges. This agreement aims to expand academic and research cooperation, exchange expertise and teaching staff, develop curricula, and organize joint scientific activities such as conferences and workshops.
The visiting delegation was headed by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Muhammad A. Al-Tahan, and a number of department heads. They were received by the Deanship of the Southern Technical College and its teaching staff. During the meeting, they discussed avenues for joint cooperation and presented future visions for enhancing the quality of technical and medical education in Iraq.
