On May 26, 2026, the Continuing Education Department at Al-Ayen Iraqi University organized a workshop on Residency Law No. 76 of 2017 as part of its annual plan to develop legal skills and enhance institutional efficiency. The workshop was lectured by the Dean of the College of Law, Asst. Prof. Dr. Khaled K. Odeh, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ammar H. Jalab from the College of Law and a number of university staff.

The workshop focused on discussing the legal and regulatory aspects of the residency law, highlighting its basic provisions, and explaining its implementation mechanisms, as well as the practical challenges facing institutions in this regard.  This workshop is part of a series of academic activities sponsored by the department, with the aim of raising the level of legal awareness among the university's academic and administrative staff.

 Continuing Education Department Director and Asst. Prof. Abdulrahman Al-Batat emphasized that these activities are part of the university's efforts to enhance the capabilities of its members in various fields, contributing to improving performance and achieving higher levels of efficiency in institutional work.
