On the occasion of Iraqi Engineer's Day (May 25), and as part of its ongoing efforts to encourage active student energies, the College of Engineering Technology honored an elite of its students who contributed outstandingly to various extracurricular activities, including scientific, cultural, sports, humanitarian, media, and civil society service initiatives, held at the college and university levels during the 2024-2025 academic year.
The honoring ceremony was held by Asst. Prof. Dr. Rafid S. Al-Jubouri, Dean of the College, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Raed N. Al-Obaidi, Deputy Dean for Scientific Affairs. The Dean distributed certificates of appreciation to students from various academic levels, expressing the college's gratitude for their efforts and effective initiatives.
The ceremony included a special gesture to fourth-year students who had a distinguished presence in various activities throughout their years of study. They were honored in recognition of their continued contributions, coinciding with their approaching graduation and farewell to their studies.
The Dean expressed his pride in the achievements of the fourth-year students, emphasizing that the college will continue to be proud of them as ambassadors of knowledge and learning in the field of engineering.
