On Saturday, May 3, 2025, the Chancellor of Al-Ayen Iraqi University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Haider A. Marhoon and his Deputies for Scientific and Administrative affairs, Prof. Dr. Naseer A. Hussein and Asst. Prof. Dr. Atheer Y. Odeh conducted a field tour to inspect the examination halls in the university's colleges to monitor the progress of the final exams and ensure that all necessary requirements are available for the success of the examination process.
The tour was accompanied by members of the ministerial committee assigned by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to supervise the final exams, the Dean of the College of Medical and Health Technology Prof. Dr. Muhammad A. Al-Tahan. the Dean of the College of Engineering Prof. Dr. Firas F. Kazim, the Dean of the College of Education Prof. Dr. Hussein B. Marhoon, and the Director of the Department of Academic Affairs Asst. Prof. Dr. Maitham T. Al-Mousawi.
During the tour, they reviewed the nature of the exam questions and their compatibility with the academic curricula. They also monitored students' conditions and opinions regarding the progress of the exams. The most prominent challenges they may face were also identified, and appropriate solutions were sought in coordination with the college examination committees. The visiting team praised the organization of the examination halls and the smooth running of the exams, as well as the efforts made by the college deans and examination committees to ensure a suitable examination environment.
This tour is part of a series of ongoing field visits conducted by the university Chancellor with the aim of closely monitoring the academic situation, ensuring the implementation of ministerial directives, and enhancing the quality of university performance.
