As part of its efforts to raise community awareness and highlight the impact of climate change on various aspects of life, the Women's Affairs Unit at the College of Health and Medical Technology / Al-Ayen Iraqi University organized a scientific workshop titled "Climate Change and Raising Awareness of Related Health, Economic, and Security Risks."

The workshop covered several topics, including the health impacts of climate change, such as the spread of diseases and epidemics, as well as the economic repercussions represented by the decline in agricultural production and the increase in the cost of living, along with the security risks related to resource scarcity and climate migration.

This workshop aims to enhance participants' understanding of the importance of addressing climate change and the role of individuals and institutions in mitigating its effects. It also aims to enhance cooperation among relevant stakeholders to develop effective and sustainable solutions.
