In a remarkable academic achievement that adds to its record of academic excellence, a student from the College of Engineering Technology won first place at the Fourth Scientific Forum for Distinguished Graduation Projects, held on April 16, 2025, at Al-Mansour University College in Baghdad, with the participation of 23 Iraqi universities and colleges from various provinces. The forum featured a selection of projects that reflected the advanced level of scientific research and innovation in Iraqi higher education institutions.
The college was represented at this scientific forum by Ali Razzaq Kazim Muhammad Ali, a student from the Department of Medical Device Engineering Technology (fourth year), with his project entitled: "Design and Implementation of a Respiratory and Patient Monitoring Device," which was supervised by Asst. Prof. Dr. Raed Nasr Al-Obaidi.
The project received significant attention from the college's deanship and relevant scientific committees, given its high medical and technical importance and its potential contribution to supporting the health sector with innovative and effective devices. Due to the project's quality of implementation and innovative design, it deservedly won first place among the participating projects.
