Asst. Prof. Dr. Khalid Kazim Odeh, Dean of the College of Law at Al-Ayen Iraqi University, participated as a member and supervisor of the master's thesis defense committee, entitled "Administrative Authority in Regulating the Work of Foreigners in Iraq - A Comparative Study," for student Fatima Ali Khalouhan, at the College of Law, Dhi Qar University.
The thesis addressed a comparative analytical study of the authority of the administration in regulating the work of foreigners in Iraq, drawing on relevant international and regional experiences. The aim was to highlight the strengths and shortcomings of Iraqi legislation related to the work of foreigners and to propose legal remedies that would contribute to strengthening the role of public administration in regulating this sector in line with the requirements of the public interest and international laws.
The defense committee commended the student's outstanding academic effort in preparing the thesis, as well as the supervision and follow-up of Asst. Prof. Dr. Khalid Kazim Odeh, who provided academic and technical support that contributed to producing the thesis at a solid academic level.
