His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, received in his office Asst. Prof. Dr. Haider A. Marhoon, Chancellor of Al-Ayen University, accompanied by Asst. Prof. Dr. Atheer Y. Odeh, Deputy Chancellor for Administrative Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Naseer A. H. Al-Quraishi, Deputy Chancellor for Academic Affairs.
This visit came as part of congratulating His Excellency the Minister on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr. The Chancellor of the University and his Deputies expressed their sincere wishes for continued health, wellbeing, and success in his professional career.
For his part, His Excellency Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi congratulated Asst. Prof. Dr. Haider A. Marhoon, on assuming the presidency of Al-Ayen University, emphasizing the importance of enhancing the level of teaching competencies at the university.
During the meeting, Dr. Haider A. Marhoon emphasized Al-Ayen University's commitment to strengthening its distinguished position on the Iraqi and international academic map, and to continuously developing its academic and research capabilities to serve the interests of students and enhance prospects for scientific cooperation with international educational institutions. He also expressed the university's aspiration to enhance fruitful cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
