On Tuesday, April 8, 2025, the Chancellor of Al-Ayen Iraqi University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Haider A. Marhoon received Prof. Dr. Hussein Majeed Al-Hasouneh, Chancellor of Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq (AS) University, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Kazim Mahdi Al-Mousawi Head of the Department of Computer Engineering Technology, to congratulate him on assuming the presidency of Al-Ayen Iraqi University.
The visiting delegation was received by the University Chancellor Asst. Prof. Dr. Haider A. Marhoon, his Deputy for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. Nasir A. Hussein, and the Secretary of the University Council Prof. Dr. Maitham T. Qasim. During the meeting, they exchanged views on the state of higher education in Iraq and ways to enhance cooperation between the two universities in the fields of scientific research and academic program development.
In conclusion, the visiting delegation wished him success in his duties and hoped he would continue to lead the university towards further progress and success.
