The College of Medicine / Al-Ayen Iraqi University AUIQ, represented by its Dean Prof. Dr. Adnan T. Al-Khafaji Prof. Dr. Muhammad J. Al-Naimi, Lecturer Dr. Ghaith I. Jabbar, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Hisham A. Rahim participated with distinguished scientific research in the Seventh International Conference held by the Rabie Center for Cardiology at Rabie Hospital in Nasiriyah.

The conference was inaugurated in the presence of the First Deputy Governor of Dhi Qar Mr. Razzak Kashish, and with active participation from the Heart Hospital in Nasiriyah, represented by its Director Dr. Salwan Qahtan, Consultant Physician Ismail Al-Sawz, Consultant Physician Manaf M. Khadir, Consultant Physician Walid Khaled, and Dr. Dhu A. K. Hazbar. Doctors from the Heart Center in Nasiriyah participated in managing the main sessions of the first and second days of the conference.

 It is worth mentioning that this conference was held for the seventh time under the direct supervision of the Iraqi Heart and Chest Association and Al-Rabi’ Heart Center, in cooperation with Al-Nasiriyah Heart Hospital, Azadi Heart Center in Dohuk, Al-Kut Heart Center, Karbala Heart Center, the Iraqi Heart Center in the Medical City, Ibn Al-Nafis Heart Hospital, in addition to the various heart centers in Kurdistan and the various Iraqi governorates. 

 The conference was supported and participated by Iraqi universities and medical colleges in Iraq, with a wide academic presence represented by the President of Dhi Qar University Prof. Dr. Kamal Al-Yasiri, and his scientific and administrative deputies, the Dean of the College of Medicine / Dhi Qar University Prof. Dr. Wajdi J. Majid, his scientific and administrative assistants, and the AUIQ represented by the Dean of the College of Medicine Prof. Dr. Adnan T. Al-Khafaji, his scientific and administrative assistants, and a number of college professors. The University of Sumer and its College of Medicine were represented by the Scientific Deputy Prof. Dr. Ali M. Al-Tamimi and the University of Baghdad participated, represented by the Dean of the College of Medicine and Chairman of the Committee of Deans of Medical Colleges in Iraq, Prof. Dr. Amin Al-Alwani, as well as the University of Wasit represented by the Dean of the College of Medicine Prof. Dr. Nasir Al-Maliki, and Al-Ameed University represented by the Dean of the College of Medicine Prof. Dr. Hassan Nasrallah, and the University of Karbala, College of Medicine represented by Prof. Dr. Karim Al-Nafie, and the College of Medicine, Tikrit University, represented by the A Dean of the Administration.  

The conference was also attended by the Chairman of the Iraqi Council of Cardiology, Dr. Hassan Al-Farhan, the Chairman of the Iraqi Cardiothoracic Society, Prof. Dr. Muthanna Al-Quraishi, and senior professors of cardiology in Iraq, Dr. Ammar Talib Al-Hamdi, Dr. Hassan Al-Najjar, Dr. Falah Al-Azzawi, Dr. Aram Jamal Mirza, Dr. Muhammad Matar, Dr. Hussein Nasser, Dr. Shawkat Miro, Dr. Majeed Hussein Doski, Dr. Raed Sabry, Dr. Ali Al-Ibrahimi, Consultant Physician Qasim Mudallal, Consultant Physician Adel Jawad, Consultant Physician Haider Hamza, and Consultant Physician Basem Mazloum The conference was chaired by Prof. Dr. Jassim Al-Khalidi, Secretary of the Iraqi Cardiothoracic Society. Speakers from various countries of the world, including Egypt, Lebanon, and India, participated in the conference.
