In its endeavor to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG No. 4: Quality Education)
The Continuing Education Center at the College of Engineering Technology, in cooperation with its counterpart at the College of Pharmacy, organized a workshop entitled “Identifying Thinking Patterns and Their Impact on the Scientific and Social Dimension of Individuals”, within the framework of the twinning agreement between the two colleges to enhance academic cooperation and continuous development, delivered by Dr. Muhammad K. Al-Hijami, a lecturer at the College of Engineering Technology
During the workshop, Dr. Al-Hijami addressed the topic of classifying the types of ideas and their quality, explaining how the nature of ideas affects the behavior and academic and social performance of individuals. He also reviewed ways of dealing with different ideas and the importance of critical and creative thinking in solving problems and scientific development.
The workshop also touched on the importance of understanding the thinking patterns of others, as the lecturer indicated that recognizing the intellectual differences between individuals contributes to creating a cooperative and effective work environment. He also stressed the role of deep thinking methods in promoting scientific renaissance, stressing that developing these skills helps students and researchers achieve more creative results in their fields.
This event is part of a series of joint activities between the two colleges within the framework of the twinning agreement, which aims to exchange expertise and enhance scientific and research development between different disciplines.
