Today Tuesday, November 23, 2021 the Department of the Students' Activities held the fine art exhibition in cooperation with the Cultural House in Thi-Qar for the University's students, under the sponsorship of the Chancellor of the University Prof. Dr. Shafik S. Shafik, and was participated by over 30 students and over 10 artists whose products were exhibited at the University main courtyard.
the Director of the Department Dr. Hussein M. Tuama said (we have held this festival in cooperation with the Cultural House as part of the Department's curriculum for the first term of the current year. This is to be prepared to participate in the festival of Fine and applied arts which is intended to be held by the Department of Scientific Supervision and Evaluation in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in which we aspire to obtain advanced positions .
He added, ( the exhibited objects at the festival included most of the artistic schools, such as the Surrealism, Classical and Academic Portraiture, Caricature, Sculpture and others
The Deputy of Artists Syndicate's Manager Hasson Al-Shannon said ((what was exhibited today at the Al-Ayen University Campus is not found in specialized Colleges. and the most beautiful thing observed today was the diversity in the artists ages from 18 to 70 years of old, this provides amazing intellectual interchange among those generations
