In its endeavor to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 4: Quality Education)
As part of the first-stage student orientation program, the College of Engineering Technology organized a workshop entitled: “The Future of Fuel and Energy Engineer”, on Monday, January 20, 2025, under the supervision and presentation of Mrs. Amal Jabbar.
The workshop focused on several main axes, including providing an introductory overview of the department and the role of fuel and renewable energy engineers in achieving sustainable development according to modern technical standards. It also addressed the job opportunities available to graduates, and the required engineering skills that enhance their ability to compete in the labor market, in addition to discussing the challenges they face in light of the rapid developments in the technical engineering field.
The workshop witnessed positive interaction from the students, as they were given the opportunity to learn about the importance of their specialization and its vital role in supporting the engineering infrastructure and achieving strategic development goals.
This event comes within the college's ongoing efforts to support students and qualify them to be leaders in their fields of specialization.
