In its strive to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institution).The College of Engineering Technology organized elections to select first-stage student representatives in its scientific departments, which include: Departments of: Medical Devices Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering Technology, Cybersecurity Engineering Technology, Fuel and Energy Engineering Technology, and Health Physics and Radiotherapy Engineering Technology. The elections were directly supervised by the Deputy Dean for Scientific Affairs Asst. Prof. Dr. Raed N. Al-Obaidi in the presence of the heads of scientific departments. The electoral process was characterized by precise organization and transparency, which reflected the students' awareness and confidence in the mechanisms of teamwork.
The students demonstrated a clear commitment to choosing representatives capable of representing them effectively and conveying their ambitions and challenges to the college administration.
In conclusion, the college confirmed that this initiative comes within the framework of enhancing the spirit of responsibility and belonging among students, which contributes to establishing a culture of effective participation and creating an academic environment based on fruitful dialogue and constructive communication.
