The Minister of Health, Prof. Dr. Saleh Al-Hasnawi, during his visit toTeaching Hospital of Al-Ayen Iraqi University, accompanied by the Governor of Dhi Qar Murtada Al-Ibrahimi, on Thursday, January 9, 2025, confirmed that it "represents an important addition to the health system in Dhi Qar Province, as it possess modern medical technologies that contribute to providing advanced medical services."
He was received by the Deputy Chancellor of the University for Scientific Affairs Asst. Prof. Dr. Haider A. Marhoon, Dean of the College of Medicine Prof. Dr. Adnan T. Al-Khafaji, Dean of the College of Engineering Technology Asst. Prof. Dr. Rafid S. Al-Jubouri, Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies Prof. Dr. Muhammad A. A. Al-Tahan, and Dean of the College of Engineering Asst. Prof. Dr. Firas Faiq Kazim.
During his tour of the hospital, Prof. Dr. Al-Hasnawi praised "the efforts made to provide modern medical devices from international sources, which helps relieve pressure on other hospitals in the province, especially in the field of specialized and therapeutic health care."
