The College of Engineering, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, organized a workshop on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, entitled “Artificial Intelligence Applications in Medical Engineering” presented by a lecturer at the College of Engineering Dr. Hasnaa M. Hassan.
The workshop addressed the importance of AI in developing medical engineering techniques and how to benefit from it in improving the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, in addition to its role in designing smart medical devices.
The workshop was attended by a group of college lecturers who praised the importance of the topic and its role in opening new horizons for scientific research and development in the field of medical engineering.
The workshop concluded with a fruitful scientific discussion between the attendees and the lecturer about the future possibilities of employing artificial intelligence in this field.
