As part of its efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 4: Quality Education)
As part of its continuous efforts to develop scientific skills related to its various departments, the College of Engineering Technology, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, organized a scientific workshop entitled “Spectroscopy”, on Saturday, December 14, 2024.
The workshop was delivered by Dr. Ahmed Abu Bakr, who presented a scientific presentation in which he discussed the spectral analysis technique and its great importance in engineering and scientific applications, highlighting its close connection to the various specializations of the college.
The workshop was attended by the Dean of the College Asst. Prof. Dr. Rafid S. Al-Jabouri, and the Deputy Dean for Scientific Affairs, in addition to a number of faculty members and students of the college. The workshop was characterized by its interactive nature, as the attendees from professors and students contributed to asking questions and discussing applied ideas, which helped enhancing scientific understanding and consolidate the basic concepts of spectral analysis technique among the participants.
In conclusion, Dr. Ahmed Abu Bakr stressed the important role of these scientific activities in developing students’ skills and enhancing their research efforts, in addition to introducing them to modern technologies that play a vital role in various engineering fields.
