The Department of the Students Activities at Al-Ayen University held a charitable market for the students of the University, the proceeds of which is to benefit the orphans and dignified needy families. The event took place in presence of the University Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shakir S. Al-Mowla and Vice-Chancellor for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Haider A. Marhoon, Deans of the Colleges, Teaching staff and the students at the main courtyard of the University campus.
The students' participation varied from Drawings, calligraphy, decoration, handicrafts to cooking and accessories that express their diverse and manifold interests and talents.
the Director of the Students Activities Department stated: ( this market is part of our voluntarily charity efforts to enhance the spirit of love and cooperation and to insure the social integration among all sects), he added, ( the syllabus of this department includes many activities that can contribute significantly to promote the students' talents and creativity)
