On December 16, 2024, The Chancellor Al-Ayen University Prof. Dr. Shafik S. Shafik inaugurated the first employment forum for the College of Pharmacy at Al-Ayen Iraqi University in cooperation with the Pharmacists Syndicate in Dhi Qar, the College of Medicine, and Al-Ayen Iraqi University Teaching Hospital.
Prof. Dr. Shafik said that this forum is a unique initiative to enhance communication between graduates and employers in the medical and pharmaceutical field and to establish the foundations for cooperation between academic, health, and professional institutions in Iraq.
The event witnessed the participation of a number of leading pharmaceutical companies, in addition to a series of lectures given by experts and specialists to enhance the skills of graduates and enable them to enter the labor market with confidence and efficiency.
This forum is a qualitative step to enhance the partnership between graduates and employers and reflects the vision of Al-Ayen Iraqi University in supporting its students and graduates and consolidating cooperation between the academic and industrial sectors in a way that contributes to the development of pharmacy in Iraq.
