The Director of the Student Activities Department at Al-Ayen Iraqi University Asst. Prof Dr. Hussein M. Taama announced the achievement of advanced positions in the Iraqi Universities Volleyball Championship for the Southern Region, which was held in Basra City.
Dr. Taama stated that we were able to achieve second place in the male students' competitions and third place in the female students' competitions, as the matches played by our teams were distinguished by competition, adding that our university is distinguished by having distinguished players who were close to winning first place in the male and female students' competitions.
He added that our team player, student Hussein Qasim, was chosen as the best player in second place for his distinguished performance during the matches. In fact, all members of our teams (male and female students) presented a wonderful performance on the field, wishing them success in the upcoming ministerial participation.
