On Monday, December 9,2024, the Dean of the College of Engineering Technology, Asst. Prof. Dr. Rafid S. Al-Jubouri received first-stage students for the new academic year 2024-2025. The meeting included all departments of the college: Department of Medical Devices Engineering Technology, Computer Technology Engineering, Cybersecurity Technology Engineering, Medical Physics and Radiotherapy Technology Engineering, and Fuel and Energy Technology Engineering.
The meeting was attended by heads of scientific departments and advanced stage students, who expressed their welcome to their new colleagues. The Dean delivered a speech in which he welcomed the new students, congratulated them on starting their academic journey at the Technical College, and stressing the importance of diligence and hard work to achieve academic excellence. He also stressed the college's commitment to providing an advanced educational environment and services that support students in achieving their aspirations.
For their part, the heads of departments provided an introductory overview of each department, in which they discussed the academic specializations and their goals, in addition to the services available to enhance the students' educational experience.
The meeting concluded with encouraging students to invest in the opportunities provided by the college in particular and the university in general and to build a distinguished academic and professional future.
