The Computer Technology Engineering Department at the Engineering Technical College organized a scientific visit to the Postal Service, under the supervision of Dr. Mazen Youssef, with the aim of enhancing the practical knowledge of students in the field of computer systems and networks. The visit included a detailed presentation on how to manage postal operations using technical systems based on databases and communication software. The students were also exposed to practical applications of computing systems, such as email and message tracking, and data protection mechanisms within networks.
During the visit, Postal Department officials answered the students' inquiries related to work mechanisms and the role of technology in developing and improving postal services.
The visit concluded by emphasizing the vital role played by the Computer Technology Engineering Department in designing and developing advanced systems that contribute to facilitating postal operations and enhancing information security, highlighting the importance of this specialization in supporting various sectors.
