The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit of the College of Law at Al-Ayen Iraqi University (AUIQ) held a lecture on building confidence in students on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, in the hall of the Continuing Education Center at the university, in the presence of a number of students.
The lecture was delivered by the head of unit Asst. Lecturer Hussein M. Abdul Razzaq, and addressed the meaning of confidence, and its lack is linked to the belief that others see your weakness and criticize everything about you, which results in anxiety and a feeling of shame.
He touched on the specific sources of the problem of lack of confidence as it is linked to a person from childhood through an incident in childhood such as embarrassment or constant mockery, then presented the steps that increase self-confidence, enhance personality and work to build it.
