The College of Education at Al-Ayen Iraqi University (AUIQ) held a workshop on the topic of the "Speicher Massacre" with the aim of commemorating this painful incident and enhancing historical awareness among students. Prof. Hussein Lafta Hassan lectured in this workshop. It included presentations and lectures that addressed the details of the massacre and its repercussions, and the importance of remembering such events in enhancing national unity and rejecting violence was also discussed. The workshop witnessed great interaction from students and faculty members, who stressed the importance of spreading awareness about historical events that contribute to shaping national memory and enhancing community responsibility.
