At the first Al-Ayen Scientific Conference, organized by the Al-Ayen Iraqi University in Nasiriyah Park on Saturday, March 9, 2024. Where a number of prominent figures in the academic and administrative fields were honored. Appreciation letters were presented to universities' presidents, including the President of Dhi Qar University Prof. Dr. Yahya A. Al-Khafaji, the President of Sumer University Prof. Dr. Adel R. Al-Zarkani, in addition to the Dean of Mazaya College Prof. Dr. Imad I. Daoud, and the Dean of the College of Engineering at Dhi Qar University Prof. Dr. Adnan A. Al-Aboudi. And the head of the heart center in Nasiriyah Dr. Aqeel Al-Khafaji.
The event was also attended by the First Deputy Governor Mr. Razzaq Kashish, and the Second Deputy Governor Mr. Majid H. Al-Atabi, in addition to members of the Governorate Council, including Mr. Ahmed N. Al-Rumaid and Mr. Rawasi Karim, who were honored for their pioneering efforts in supporting education and development in the region.
The conference witnessed over 140 scientific and social student exhibitions and activities, where students presented distinguished performances in various fields, which attracted the admiration and appreciation of the attendees.
This event reflects the scientific and cooperative spirit among universities and educational institutions in the region and highlights efforts made to promote scientific research and community development.
